Our mission is to help commuters and newcomers navigate Egypt's extensive, informal minibus transport network with ease. Egypt's minibuses have fixed numbered and custom routes (such as مواصلات مصر and هيئة النقل العام) but do not have an official public map or a digital system. Commuters have long relied on memorizing routes or asking around on the street.
MiniBus Egypt digitizes this informal knowledge, making it searchable by entering your origin location and destination point. By indexing hundreds of unique routes, our platform suggests direct bus numbers or convenient transfer recommendations immediately.
MiniBus Egypt is a lightweight, 100% static, client-side web application. The search, normalization, sorting, and routing calculations occur entirely within your web browser, ensuring lightning-fast load times and minimum data consumption when on mobile networks on the street.
The project was conceptualized, designed, and developed by Youssf Hazem, a passionate software engineer focused on building practical, digital transit solutions for everyday commuters in Egypt.
